摘要
Volcanic rocks of Upper Triassic Kenan Formation in southern Qinghai province is mainly composed of basalt,basaltic andesite,basaltic lava and mid-mafic volcanic clastic rocks.Those rocks are rich in Mg and Al,poor in K and Ti,with weakly LREE enrichment,weak negative or normal Eu anomalies,trace elements showed enrichment in LILE elements,such as Rb,Ba,Th and high field strength elements of Hf,Sm and Yb.The geochemical characteristics indicated that those intraplate tholeiitic basalt were formed in extensional tectonic setting of thinned continental crust.
