摘要
In the ZY structure belt of the T basin in western China, a dolomite reservoir of the lower Paleozoic with a high product was discovered at a depth of 5900 m in the well TY2. It is, however, difficult to determine its distribution due to the complicated terrain and poor seismic physical properties. To tackle this problem, the high-power LOTEM survey is conducted in this area, and has achieved ideal results. This paper presents the principle of the high-power LOTEM sounding, the method to extract residual anomalies from data, and the interpretation in comparison with micro logging. It also reveals the delineated dolomite reservoirs by this method, and shows that the high-power LOTEM method is an effective way for probing the low-resistivity dolomite reservoirs buried in the deep high-resistivity carbonate formations. This method can be applied to the other places with the similar physical properties for the purpose of reservoir investigation.
