     In this paper, the authors studied the characteristics and controlling factors of the Ordovician M5 14 Reservoir in Shaan 200 Borefield of Jingbian gasfield in Ordos Basin. Based on predecessors’ research, the methods of core observation, thin section analysis, porosity and permeability analysis, mercury intrusion were used to multidisciplinarily analyze the characteristics and influential factors. The reservoir is controlled by tectonic movement, deposition and diagenesis. The southwest of the study area is most abundant of gas, and the middle east takes second place.
