According to the comparison between 2 methods outlining anomaly of trend surface and traditional statistics, the authors believe that the application of trend surface method to outline the anomaly in Huangkuangchang orefield has certain superiority. Therefore, the authors applied the trend surface method to outline the geochemical exploration anomaly of Sanqiutian ore block in this area anew. The analysis of this result shows that the Sanqiutian ore block is worth working further.
