     Through researching on regional geological setting of ore-forming processes and geological charac-teristics of Sn-W polymetallic deposit in Hehuaping area,regional metallogenic rules and ore-forming control conditions are concluded in this paper and it is argued that formation of deposit is controlled by strata,struc-ture and magmatic rock in different ways.Besides,prospecting potential in Hehuaping area is analyzed in as-pect of package exploration,and key prospecting location in mining area are pointed out,such as Hehuaping-Liangtian,Longxingzhai,and Guanyinshan-Zhenzhuling.
