     In 2002 August, three bedrock leveling bench marks have been set up at Qidu Town in Linzi District of Zibo City. Based on this bench marks, 35kin for the first order leveling and 230km for the second order leveling were carried out by Trimble DiNil2 electronic level and bar code of leveling staff made in United States, as well as interconnected 66 leveling benchmarks. Statistics results show that there are three obvious ground subsidence centers at the oil and gas resources development area in Yellow River Delta （Dongying）. The three centers are respectively Jinqing No.67 at Dawang Town, D65 at Yihe Town and D37 at the intersection of the Yellow River Road and Xishi Road in Dongying City. The subsidence depth is of 149.2mm, 99mm and 38. lmm respectively. The author puts forward a recommendation to construct a group of layered benchmarks at the proper place, and to unify the personnel, time and number of observation. Through studying the variation regularity of the observation point and combining the hydrogeological data, we will make a further explanation and an effective settlement.
