     In a mining area, the main minerals are the molybdenites associated with some pyrites and minor lead-zinc ores, where the strata are very complex, the faults are developed. It is not easy to drill the fracture zones with fault gouges and breccias. In view of the drilling problems, it needs selecting the appropriate drilling technology to avoid accident and improve drilling efficiency.
