The Applying Effect on Soil Geochemical Survey in the Henan X Ore District, Chile
详细信息
摘要

Chile is located in the Pacific rim metallogenic belt, its copper reserves account for about 30% of the world. For promoting the geological exploration of China geological prospecting enterprises in desert landscape of northern Chile, 1 10 000 soil measurement were carried out in Henan X mine. With sample size fraction experiment and 1 ,50 000 soil measurement, it was known that the sampling horizon is I3 or BC soil and the best sampling size fraction is --40 mesh grain size. 11 composite anomalies were delineated by applying the method to soil survey. Some good prospecting clues were found with anomaly inspection by trenching and drilling project. It is possible to find vein or porphyry copper and certain scale gold mine in the area. It showed that the application of this method can further clarified prospecting target, delineated prospecting targets, reduced ore-prospecting area, and increased prospecting efficiency. Because of the characteristics of cli- mate and topography in arid desert landscape, it was difficult to produce bigger geochemical anomalies. It need to pay atten- tion on the evaluation and verification of small anomaly.
