Excel VBA (Visual Basic for Application) is an object-oriented programming language, and has the characteristics of simplicity and powerful development function. In this paper, the authors study the application of the technology in engineering seismic exploration on the basis of learning Excel VBA Technology. After studying the efficiency problem of the datum pre-process in shallow seismic reflection exploration of walk-navigation pattern in watered areas, the authors develop the software by means of Excel VBA technology, named “Pre-processing System of Water Area Shallow Seismic Reflection Exploration of Walk-Navigation Pattern”.
