摘要
The introduction to Volume Ⅱ of Geology Applied to Selenology-“The Features of the Moon”--stated that it presented a general reconnaissance survey of the moon’s face,“leaving most of the detail unmentioned, and to some extent unstudied.”It was inevitable that further study was made, bearing especially on some of the more recondite problems developed in Volume Ⅱ. The result is sketched in the present volume.
