A novel technique named the shrinking circles is proposed to enhance the capabilities of optimization algorithms. A hybridization version of Gravitational Search Algorithm with Particle Swarm Optimization (Advanced GSA_PSO) is presented. Advanced GSA_PSO is used as an optimization kernel for the proposed circuit sizing tool. A straightforward strategy is employed to alleviate the computation burden of corners analysis.
