摘要
寒武纪是显生宙第一纪,见证了动物的爆发式快速演化过程,标志着地球从微生物为主导的前寒武纪生态系统转变为以动物为特征的显生宙生态系统.然而,全球寒武纪地层对比困难,高分辨率年代地层系统还未完全建立,严重制约寒武纪地球-生命系统演化历史的研究.文章简要介绍国际寒武系四统十阶年代地层系统的形成历史和已经建立的幸运阶、鼓山阶、古丈阶、排碧阶和江山阶的定义与"金钉子"(GSSP),概述第二阶、第三阶、第四阶、第五阶和第十阶底界厘定工作进展,重点阐述寒武系底界的全球对比问题,以及寒武纪化学地层和同位素年代学的研究现状和存在问题.在简要回顾中国寒武纪年代地层研究历史的基础上,根据国际寒武纪年代地层研究进展,对以华南为基础的中国寒武纪年代地层和时间框架进行了修订,新建肖滩阶作为中国寒武系第二阶.全面介绍中国华南、华北和塔里木三个主要构造地层分区寒武纪综合地层(生物地层、化学地层和同位素年代学)研究进展,并对中国不同地层分区寒武系底部地层发育特征、底界识别和存在问题进行分析和讨论;同时还对三个主要地层分区寒武系上部白云岩地层的划分与对比提出建议.
