碳量子点的合成以及生物成像研究

摘要
量子点作为荧光性能优异的纳米材料而受到人们的广泛关注,并且在生物化学领域内有巨大的应用潜力。碳量子点作为量子点家族的新成员,具有良好的荧光性能、良好的生物相容性、低毒性、易于大规模合成等优点,也引起了人们的极大兴趣~([1,2])。本文利用热回流法一步合成碳量子点,并用硝酸对其进行氧化处理,得到水溶性碳量子点,通过TEM、FTIR、UV-Vis等测试手段来研究纳米粒子的结构和稳定性等性质,结果表明通过该方法合成的碳量子点颗粒基本上呈球状,粒径分布比较均匀,粒径分布范围在1.3~3.7nm之间,平均直径为2.1nm,这些碳量子点在紫外照射下会出现荧光,使得在细胞成像方面具有潜在的应用,由于它们在进入细胞时没有任何进一步的官能化,和这些颗粒的荧光特性,可用于基于荧光的细胞成像应用~([3,4])。
Because of the excellent florescence performance, quantum dots(QDs) drawn wide attention, and QDs showed great potention application in the field of biochemistry. Carbon quantum dots as a new member of the family of quantum dots, which has good fluorescence properties, good biocompatibility, low toxicity, easy-to-large scale synthesis, etc., aroused great interest about researchers. In this paper, we used heat reflux to synthesis carbon quantum dots, and its oxidation with nitric acid to obtain a water-soluble carbon quantum dots, studied the structure, stability and other properties of nanoparticles by TEM、 FT-IR and UV-Vis, the results show that the synthesized carbon quantum dots by this method is substantially spherical, the particle size distribution is relatively uniform, whose size is mostly distributed in the range of 1.3 ~ 3.7nm(2.1nm average diameter), these carbon quantum dots will be fluorescent through the ultraviolet irradiation, leading to the potential applications in imaging cells, these nanoparticles do not have any further functionalization when entering the cells, and the fluorescent properties of the particles can be used for fluorescence-based cell imaging applications.
