摘要

五矿钢铁有限责任公司成立于1997年1月，其前身为中国五金矿产进出口总公司钢材进口总部。五矿钢铁公司主营钢材进出口业务，是中国最大的钢材进口企业，也是中国对日本钢材定期谈判的窗口。
    为了满足公司在今后10年的快速稳定发展和迎接中国进入WTO的挑战，本文结合国内外贸进出口行业的实际情况，从多个角度对五矿钢铁有限责任公司公司战略、产品战略、内部管理进行分析，并就公司未来发展的方向、面临的机遇和挑战、及所应采取的措施和方法提出自己的看法。
    本文从公司的整体战略出发，然后逐层深入，通过对公司所属各项业务以及典型产品的具体分析，对五矿钢铁公司的进出口产品进行定位，最后在公司的内部管理方面，对组织结构、人力资源、风险管理和信息管理等问题进行探讨，并给予积极建议。
    本人结合所学知识和在五矿钢铁公司战略项目的工作实践，在大量数据和信息收集、整理、分析的基础上，对五矿钢铁公司今后10年的发展给出了“逐步向内外贸结合的大型跨国钢铁贸易服务企业转变”的整体战略发展目标
Established in Jan. 1997,Minmetals Steel Co.Ltd., the former steel import headquarter of China Minmetals Import and Export, is mainly involved in steel import and export. It is the largest steel importer in China and the negotiation platform for Sino-Japan regular steel contract.
    China's entering WTO brings both opportunity and challenge to M.S.'s development. In this paper I will bring forward my view in terms the company's development direction, challenge and opportunities facing and the counterpart methods, which is based on analysis upon M.S.'s company strategy, production strategy and infrastructure management, and on the observation to present domestic and foreign trade situation.
    The analysis starts from the company's strategies as a whole, then specifies to individual projects and products, then focuses on organizing structure, human resource, risk management and information management.
    Based on business theories and much data and information, the paper concludes by offering a goal for the company's general strategic development. That is to transform M.S. into a large-scale international steel trade service company, stressing on both domestic and foreign trade
