加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚省小学课程现状与特征研究

摘要
课程改革是基础教育改革的核心问题。自20世纪90年代以来,世界各国都纷纷加大基础教育课程改革的力度,以迎接新世纪的挑战。学习和借鉴他国课程改革的经验有助于我们更清楚地认识和反思本国课程改革。本文从比较课程论与教学论的角度出发,以描述和分析为主要研究方法,对20世纪以来B.C省小学课程改革及其发展状况进行了探讨。
     本论文正文主要包括三个部分。第一部分首先对加拿大及B.C省的教育概况予以了介绍;然后分四个阶段着力对20世纪以来B.C省小学课程改革与发展状况进行了比较详尽的阐释。第二部分深入地探讨了B.C省小学的课程设置。文中主要根据该省教育部课程领域的规定,从人文、科学、艺术和实用技术四大领域着手,逐一分析了基于这四大领域的九门课程。第三部分是在前两部分探讨的基础上,总结出加拿大B.C省小学课程的六大特征:学习结果的明确性;课程内容的生活化;课程设计的综合化;课程资源的丰富性;课程实施的灵活性;课程评价的标准化、多样化与个别化。
Curriculum reform is a central problem of reforms in fundamental education. Many countries in the world have increased curriculum reforms in fundamental education for accepting the challenge in the new century since 1990s. Studying and referring the experiences which other countries reformed curriculum can help to understand and reflect clearly on china curriculum reforms. The paper started from the foreland of comparative research of curriculum and instruction, then mainly selected the methods of description and analysis to discuss elementary curriculum reform and development of the province of British Columbia in Canada since 1900s.
    The paper was composed mainly of three parts. Firstly, it introduced general situation of Canada and the province of British Columbia, then detached four stages to expound detailedly elementary curriculum reform and development of the province of British Columbia in Canada since 1900s. Secondly, it discussed the elementary curriculum prescribed by the province of British Columbia, and analysed and assessed respectively nine subjects in the four curriculum areas which were regulated by the ministry of education of the province of British Columbia. Finally, on the basis of upper two parts, it summarized six characteristics of the elementary curriculum of the province of British Columbia: learning outcomes are specific; curriculum contents connect with life; curriculum design is integrated; curriculum resources are abundant; curriculum implement is flexible; curriculum assessments are standard, various and respective.
