The Range of Secondary Hydrocarbon Generation of Lower Palaeozoic Source Rock in Tarim Basin
详细信息
摘要
Tarim basin is a typical multicyele and multiplex basin, the hydrocarbon generation history of Lower Palaeozoic source rock is characterized by secondary hydrocarbon generation. The former studies mostly converned the aspects such as the mechanism and mode of hydrocarbon generation. Researches about the region, regularities of distribution and influencing factors of secondary hydrocarbon generation about a typical basin are relatively fewer. The authors model the tectono-thermal evolution and hydrocarbon generation history of typical wells in different structural units, then discuss the feasibility, periods and characteristics of secondary hydrocarbon generation of the Lower Paleozoic source rock in different structural units. Synthetically analyzing the structural evolution and thermal history of typical wells can give the possibility and the period and region of secondary hydrocarbon generation. The main aro~ nf Ahydrocarbon generation of Ordovician source rock are distributed in the Shaya uplift, the middle part of Katake uplift, and the west part of Guchengxu uplift. And for Cambrian strata, it is in Shaya uplift, the middle part of Katake uplift, and Baehu uplift. The starting time of secondary hydrocarbon generation in different structural units is different. The tectono-thermal evolution controlled the secondary hydrocarbon generation. Reservoir formation was affected by secondary hydrocarbon generation.
