摘要
The correlations among the layer separation, stress pattern of 39 Double Seismic Zones (DSZs) and subduction parameters have been analyzed. The results indicated that: 1) type I DSZs are likely to exist in older (>60 Ma) slabs, and the layer separation is correlated with dynamic parameters; 2) type II DSZs are detected mostly in younger (<60 Ma) slabs and the features are controlled not only by dynamic factors but also local stress regime; 3) type I DSZs exist in slabs with thermal parameter greater than 5 000 km, whereas both Type I and II DSZs exist in slabs with thermal parameter less than 5 000 km; and 4) the nature of the upper plate seems to be a controlling factor on the limit of the layer separation.
