///This paper reviews the composite structures, sedimentary sequences, lithofacies types and sedimentary models of discovered internal-wave and internal-tide deposits, and points out the effects of the deposits on deep water hydrocarbon exploration. Also, it suggests that the sand bodies in submarine channel internal-wave and internal-tide deposits could be as good reservoirs and form favorable stratigraphic or lithologic traps together with deposits in deep water.
