Eleven regional geochemical data in Yunan Ag, Cd, Co, Cu, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Zn, Sn, W, etc. with scale 1∶200 000 are selected and analyzed in the application of Concentration-Area (C-A) fractal method, the C-A fractal models are built for each element. The studies show that spatial distribution of elements conforms to the fractal distribution characteristics, which can be illustrated by different fractal dimensions. Fractal analysis can be used to separate background field from anomalous field effectively. Given the fractal dimension of anomalous field, geochemical elements can be classified according to spatial enrichment degree of elements. The research also shows that Cu, Sn, Ag, Pb, Zn, Cd, Mn are the main ore-forming elements and have the potential of assisting in searching minerals.
