摘要

With the assumption that equal strain and column resistance, the consolidation governing equation for soft ground reinforced by stone column is derived and its solution is obtained. The validity of the proposed equation is conformed through being comparing with the field test subsidence data. The field test subsidence data also show that stone column is able to accelerate the consolidation rate of soft ground.
