The rupture initiation point and hypocentroid of the Lushan Ms7.0 earthquake, which occurred on April 20,2013,were imaged out by means of the TRIT (Time-Reversal Imaging Technique) using the velocity models and observation data which had been seriously chosen on purpose. The results showed the initiation point was at 30.289 ±0.005°N,102.946±0.007°E,and depth of 11.8 ± 2.3 km; the hypocentroid was the same as the initiation point during the first 3.5 s,and went around 30.27°N and 102.94°E even during the first 9.5 s,close to the initiation point, implying that the earthquake was characterized with bilateral rupture.
