///On Mar.10, 2011, an earthquake with MS5.8 occurred in Yingjiang County, Yunnan Province. Its macroscopic epicenter is located in the area from Yingjiang County Town to Yingjiang Formation, according with its microseismic epicenter determined through the seismograph. On the basis of the on-the-spot investigation of the seismic hazards, and in the light of the guidelines of Chinese Intensity Table (GB/T 17742-2008), the authors hold that the maximum intensity of the earthquake is Ⅷ.
