摘要
///The Batamayineishan formation in south foot of Kelameili Mountains in Junggar Basin distributed in Shuangjingzi area and northern Huoshaoshan area is a suit of volcanic rocks, pyroclastic rocks intercalated with sedimentary rocks. In Shuangjingzi area, there are several outcrops with big thickness of Batamayineishan Formation, which can be divided into three eruption cycles and eight lithologic segments, the outcrops and thickness are less and thinner towards south and north of it. In northern Huoshaoshan area, full Laoshangou outcrops are almost found, with bigger thickness, towards west to Wucaiwan area, the outcrops and thickness are less and thinner. In Baijiangou area, the bottom boundary of Batamayineishan formation should be moved by about 1 500 m to the south, and dominated by overlapping unconformable contact with the underlying strata. This study about lithology and thickness variation is helpful for downhole formation division and reservoir evaluation along Dixi-Wucaiwan-Shazhang-Dajing areas.
