The ore-bearing rocks of Poyi magmatic sulfide deposit are mainly the dunite, pyroxene peridotite, olivine pyroxenite, pyroxenite of the second period of the first intrusive mid-Variscan. The nickel orebody mainly distributed in the middle and the bottom of the ultrabasic rocks. Ore types consist of scattered disseminated, followed by sparse disseminated, a little of dense disseminated and sideronitic, semimassive-massive, vein-like. The genesis has been preliminary discussed after the analysis on the characteristic of petrography, petrochemistry, REE and trace element and mineralization of the Poyi magmatic sulfide deposit.
