Reservoir is the key for formation of huge carbonate oil and gas field. EPC area is located at space prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Tampicost1:place>st1:City> basin and the Cretaceous marine carbonate rock is the main reservoir. Based on core, thin section, logging and seismic data and the previous research on these area characteristics of the regional strata are defined. On this basis, facies distribution and sedimentary model of the Cretaceous carbonate rock is lineated according to <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Wilsonst1:place>st1:City>’s carbonate rock depositional model.
