The exploration of Kuche mountain front has made a great success in the past few years, which greatly promoted the exploration of southwestern Tarim Basin mountain front. The source rock in Kuche mountain front is mainly coal bed of Jurassic, followed that of Triassic. The early big fault penetrates source rock and reservoir directly. The main transforming pattern is “direct connect slanting T”. The closely folding and high steep imbricate arrangements control the distribution of hydrocarbon, and local structures control reservoir forming. The relationship between the early forming buried slide big fault and reservoir is very complicated, and “replace upward F” is the main transforming pattern. Two direction compress high steep imbricate arrangements control the reservoir solely.
