Application of PIMA in Alteration Zone Division of the Porphyry Deposit

摘要
The portable short-wave infrared spectrum analyzer (PIMA) has made a great role in the mineral mapping and alteration zone division of the porphyry deposit since 2002. The practice in field shows that PIMA can quickly distinguish fine-grained mineral composition and content which has a clear advantage with convenient, quick, saving the manpower and maternal resources.
