On the basis of integrated well log, seismic, and drill core data, the high-resolution sequence stratigraphic framework of PI oil bed in the Lasaxing region of the Songliao Basin is established. A shallow water delta depositional model is applied in the study of the formation, distribution, and correlation of sand bodies. The result shows that the reservoir sand bodies in the study area can be divided into 4 styles: channel style, mouth bar style, sheeted sand style and distal bar style, that are distributed as depositional belts in a two-dimensional space. The distribution of sand bodies in delta facies is controlled by the short- term migration rate of shoreline.
