摘要

Oil shale is an important alternative or supplementary resource of conventional oil and gas. Daqing Oilfield Company Ltd. attaches great importance to exploration, development and utilization of oil shale resource. Characteristics of geology and oil shale deposits in Wulin prospecting area in Liushuhe Basin, Heilongjiang Province have been found out after exploration. The geological structures of Wulin prospecting area are simple and 10 oil shale layers are found in the Palaeogene Bahuli Formation, 1 of which is workable all over the prospecting area and 3 are partly workable. The deposits are rich, thick and shallow-buried, suitable for opencast working. High calorific value and oil content of oil shale are favorable for dry distillation. The prospect of comprehensive development and utilization is expecting.
