Stability Study on Majiagou Landslide in Three Gorges Reservoir Area with Consideration of Unsaturated Seepage
Based on the unsaturated seepage theory, the transient change of seepage field in the process was simulated using a finite element method (FEM), and the pore water pressure was also analyzed, during the cycle of reservoir water level change. The landslide stability was analyzed as the water level changes in a hydrological period. The calculation results showed that the stability of the landslide firstly decreases and then increases gradually, regardless the water level rises or falls. A construction plan combining anti -slide piles and surface drainage was proposed based on the stability of landslide at a normal falling rate of the reservoir water level.
