Geochemical anomalies of stream sediment in Wanluohe-Kecai, Xiahe County, Gansu Province show that gold mineralization has a good prospect. According to the survey of scale 1∶100 00 stream sediment, the results indicate that Ag, Au, Hg, As, Sb and other elements with low background enriched anomaly high. Combined with geochemical characteristics of ore-forming elements, the authors proposed indicators for prospecting in the region and pointed out the direction of prospecting.
