Many uranium ore occurrences have been discovered in the Hengshan intrusive body in Ihe middle of the Xikang-Yunan axis sinee the 1960s. The A10 uranium ore oceurrence represents the mineralization character of the Henshan intrusive body. Previous researehes considered that the A10 uranium ore occurrence belongs tn a migmatite uranium deposit in basement of platfurm at Proterozoic Era. We suggest that it belongs to a granite ura- nium deposit at Indusinian Era, based on the uranium anumaly distribution, shape of migmatite, metamorphic facies, mineralizalion age and combination characterlsties of the uraniam mineral elements. We analyze the metallogenic conditions from the aspects of the intrusive body, lithological character, structure, and hydrothermal solution, and then point out that the Hengshan intrusive body has good metallogenic conditions for forming granite uranium deposits. The next exploration work should focus on hydrothermal deposits in relation to fragmental dikes in the contact zone of the Hengshan intrusive body.
