In transient electromagnetic inversion by using parallel computing technology can reduce time and increase the efficiency of the inversion operation.MPI is the most important parallel programming tool, it has a good portable, powerful, high efficiency multiple advantages. This article introduce parallel algorithm TEM preparation and procedures based on Windows system using a combination of Fortran and MPICH2 development tools. The direct one-dimensional transient electromagnetic inversion results of the theoretical model calculation show that the correctness of the algorithm, efficiency and stability.
