Zircon U-Pb Dating, REE and Lu-Hf Isotopic Characteristics of Paleoproterozoic Orthogneiss in Sulu UHP Terrane, East China
摘要
///In this study, the authors link mineral inclusion data, cathodoluminescence(CL) iamge, trace element analyses, U-Pb ages and Lu-Hf isotope compositions obtained from zircons to unravel the origin and metamorphic evolution of biotite-and epidote-bearing granitic orthogneisses from the Sulu ultrahigh-pressure(UHP) terrane, eastern China. Zircon grains from granitic gneisses in Weihai (SLU1) and Taohang (SLU2) outcrops preserved mineral inclusions of quartz (Qtz) + potash feldspar (Kfs) + albite (Ab)± apatite (Ap) with pronounced magmatic CL images. Chondrite-normalized REE patterns of the analyzed zircons are characterized by significantly higher heavy rare earth element (HREE) contents, leading to steep left-facing slopes REE patterns.
