Climate change is a major global challenge to face. It is not only a significant scientific issue, but also a big political issue. It is the mission for all human beings to contain global warming and salvage the earth home. Anhui Province is at the stage of industrial acceleration characterized by high percentage of high energy consumption industries facing huge pressure on reduction of carbon dioxide emission in the future. It is an important technical means to enhance industrial restructuring, reconstruct and improve high-carbon industries with low-carbon technology, besides, geological carbon sink is another major approach to reduction of carbon dioxide emission.
