摘要

The Cangqiang dome is one of typical metamorphic domes in the Danba-Muli belt on the west margin of the Yangtze Platform. 4 metamorphic stages may be divided in the metamorphic dome on the basis of mineralogy and metamorphism. Imperfect coincidence of spotted mangan-almandite zone and progressive metamorphic zone with structural zonation of the dome and higher geothermal gradient in the principal metamorphic stage indicate that the Changqiang metamorphic dome is a tectonic-thermal one.
