///In order to solve the problem of deep prospecting work in dry alpine zones and explore the feasibility of seeking hidden copper nickel by ground electrochemical process in dry alpine zones, the authors developed tests and researches on seeking hidden copper nickel by means of ground electrochemical extraction measurement and soil ionic conductivity measurement in Lashuixia copper nickel mine area in Hualong, Qinghai Province, and clear ground electrochemical abnormalities were detected on hidden copper nickel ore body. In the prospecting prediction of deep and peripheral space of the mine area, three ground electrochemical abnormalities of nickel, copper and conductivity were found in area A, three ground electrochemical copper abnormalities, one nickel abnormality and three conductivity abnormalities were found in area B, and three ground electrochemical copper abnormalities,two nickel abnormalities and three conductivity abnormalities were found in area C. It is presumed that there will be new breakthrough to seek hidden copper nickel in the above abnormal ground electrochemical areas.
