Geotemperature Changes in Rock and Soil Stratum during Groundwater Source Heat Pump System Operation

The cold-heat cycle underground is closely related to the hydrogeological characteristics of various rock and soil stratum (aquifer) when groundwater source heat pump system is running. Based on the fitting curve of geotemperature measured data, the authors analyzed the characteristics and causes of geotemperature change in different permeability of stratum, “heat through” underground, the relationship between geotemperature and atmospheric temperature, the utilization ratio of shallow geothermal energy and so on. Measures and recommendations are proposed to improve system energy efficiency according to improving the design and layout, artificial regulation of geotemperature etc.
