As China’s urbanization process is accelerating, many cities have had a series of urban environmental geology problems, such as earthquake, landslide, mudslide, ground subsidence and flooding. How to conduct a comprehensive environmental geology survey to avoid constant environmental geological disasters to the human being and their property has become increasingly urgent. As 3-D geological modeling technique is increasingly mature in recent years, the application of 3-D technology in urban environmental geology evaluation can intuitively and conveniently show the results of geological survey and expose the layers if necessary, speeding up its informationization process.
