Quantitative identification of high permeability section in single sand body of low permeability reservoir was studied based on analysis of core data of Yingdong oilfield, Jilin Province. Range method and contribution value method of accumulative permeability were summarized to calculate lower limit value of high permeability section in single sand body. Different discrimination function was established to determine high permeability section of non-coring wells by using Bayes method quantitatively. The results show that the strong hydrodynamic condition is sedimentary origin and secondary solution pore is the micro-cause of high permeability section. At last the foam gas flooding is presented for sealing high permeability section and spreading sweeping volume, and the residue oil recovery can be enhanced.
