摘要
The Chalukou molybdenum polymetallic ore deposit is located on south side of Tayuan in Huzhong-Tayuan polymetallic ore-forming zone. The ore-forming elements are mainly molybdenum associated with lead, zinc and silver. In general, molybdenum orebody occurs in extended dome with most part concealed and can be classified into three types vertically: stratiform economic orebody on the top; relatively thicker and larger economic orebody in the central and richer and thicker economic orebody at the bottom, all occur in Early Cretaceous rhyolite lava, rhyolite crypto-explosion breccia and granitic porphyry and controlled by volcanic dome structure and characterized by typical alteration of porphyry type deposit.
