摘要
This paper deals with geochemical characteristics of major, minor, and rare elements of argillaceous rock where woodstone fossils in Shehong are buried and makes an approach to characteristics of weathering, and tectonic setting of the provenance consisting mainly of felsic rock. Lower CIA and ICV indices suggest weak chemical weathering and strong physical weathering characteristic of rapid uplifting in the Sichuan Basin during Late Jurassic.
