Gangjiang Cu-Mo deposit occurs in a complex rock body consisting mainly of monzonitic porphyry, dacitic porphyry and rhyolitic porphyry. The porphyries belong to the calc-alkaline rock series.Their geochemical characteristics indicate that the complex rock body may be formed in the post-collision uplift period and the mineralization is related to crystal differentiation under low-temperature low-pressure condition of magma.
