摘要
Under the conditions of complex overburden, the results of conventional seismic exploration methods are always not good enough. Based on seismic interferometry, this paper studies a way to avoid the complex overburden and image the target stratum directly with virtual source generated from VSP data. The wavelet interferometric imaging, especially when there of the source affects the resolution of the seismic is a thin layer, which makes the distinguishing of the closely approached reflect events impossible. Based on the characteristics of the estimated virtual source wavelet, the wavelet is shaped to suppress the side lobes of the wavelet to improve the resolution of imaging. The numerical experiment shows that with complex overburden, the virtual source data generated from the VSP data can give a good image of the target stratum.
