This paper presents the results from the flying measured data of HDY-402 three-frequency airborne electromagnetics system in Erlianhot-Dongwuqi area of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the authors carry out the inversion and convert the electromagnetic field into the apparent resistivity (ρ_s) caused by underground geological bodies. According to the differences and distribution trends of the ρ_s value, lithological and structure mapping was carried out in Erlianhot-Dongwuqi region of Inner Mongolia compared with the existed 1:200 000 geological map, which shows a good results of the application of the technology.
