The geologic survey shows that dissolution pores and karst caves in the Jurassic calcareous conglomerate in a reservoir region will be passages of seepage from reservoir. This paper makes an approach to the characteristics, spatial distribution and genetic mechanism of corrosion in the calcareous conglomerate in the reservoir area on the basis of hydrogeological conditions. The study indicates no well-grown corrosion and no well-connected leakage channel in the calcareous conglomerate. Therefore, no serious problem of seepage from reservoir will come into existence in the reservoir region.
