摘要
///The authors studied the relationship between fault system and hydrocarbon accumulation in Shawan Formation of Chepaizi Area, Junggar Basin. Firstly, faults were characterized by integrated application of the 2D and 3D seismic data. Secondly, taking the east fault of well P206 and the north fault of P2-70 as example, qualitative analysis and quantitative characterization were carried out to evaluate the fault sealing. Finally, the authors analyzed the relationship between faults and traps, hydrocarbon migration and accumulation. The results show that the trap formed by faults of Shawan Formation and stratigraphic pinch-out line is the beneficial area, and the long-term activity of Hongche Fault and the longitudinal connection of small faults in Himalayan Period caused the migration of hydrocarbon to Shawan Formation, and the traps communicated with faults is more beneficial to the hydrocarbon accumulation.
