摘要
Varous klippes structures are found in Longmenshan oregenic belt and attracted the attention of geologists and a number of perspectives are provided for formation mechanism of those structures.However,some detail about property,genetic mechanism and evolution of those klippes are debated.Based on the field geologic investigation,the mechanisms,evolution and formation time of klippes in Sandui area,Guangyuan,Sichuan province,are analyzed.The klippes were formed during the nappe process from Northwest to southeast.Root of the lower klippe in Sanmengya area,composed of Cambrian strata,is located in Xiejiagou thrust nappe.The lower part was formed much earlier than the upper part of the klippe,may be earlier than Yanshanian,and destroyed by Himalayan activities.Root of the upper klippe,composed of Silurian strata,is covered by Lishuaba thrust nappe.The upper klippe is synchronic to foreland molasse(Dayi conglomerate) accumulation,which was formed in Pliocene(N2)-early Pleistocene(Q1).
