The Wandao gold deposit in Zhaoping County, Guangxi is a newly discovered deposit in the Dayaoshan gold mineralization area in eastern Guangxi. In this study, the authors take it as an example to research its ore-controlling conditions. By analyzing geophysical and geochemical data, and summarizing the prospecting indicators, the authors suggested three prospective zones which have been verified by drillings.which confirmed our thoughts. The assessment method of gold deposits presented in this paper is of great importance to the further survey and ore-search work in the Dayaoshan gold deposit area.
