摘要
Rutile ID-TIMS and LA-MC-ICP-MS U-Pb isotopic dating methods are elaborated systematically in this paper.The advantage and the limitation of the two methods are discussed respectively.Rutile from Daixian,Shanxi Province were first analyzed using LA-MC-ICP-MS method to check the U-Pb age homogeneity,and then dated precisely by means of ID-TIMS method,yielding a weighted ~207Pb/~206 Pb average age of 1805±2 Ma(MSWD=2.3,n=6)and an upper interseption age of 1808±7Ma(MSWD= 0.20,n=6).The rutile U-Pb isotopic dating results by ID-TIMS and in situ methods are comparatively studied in this paper.It is demonstrated that precise and reliable rutile U-Pb ages can be obtained by means of both ID-TIMS and LA-MC-ICP-MS methods.
